Here’s the thing. I’m having less of a problem with Miranda this time around. She’s still my least favorite, but I’m less hard on her now then I was before. However, she drives me crazy in this episode. I feel like people take Carrie to task all the time, and a lot of the time she earns it, but sometimes Miranda is just as selfish and self-involved as Carrie, but she gets a pass because people related to her cynicism. This is my least favorite quality about Miranda and it’s all over this episode. She feels that she has the right to rip apart Carrie’s relationship with Big because she’s having trust issues with men. And I hate when people bring their shit into other people’s relationships and feel like they have the right to judge them. Plus she treats poor Steve, this sweet guy who actually likes her like shit.

I can pin-point several episodes where Carrie is hard to like, and when I get to them I will, but Miranda is insufferable to me in this episode, but I feel like she never gets called on it the way Carrie does.

Anyway. I have opinions. Whatever. Moving on.
